About MeI have over 13 years' experience of working as a trusted HR partner in financial and professional services. I worked for many years for the financial institution UBS, both in London and New York, and was involved in much of the restructuring that came about as a result of the global financial crisis. I have worked for the Nobel prize winning humanitarians Médecins Sans Frontières/Doctors Without Borders. I also regularly volunteer with the National Trust for Scotland in the Community Outreach Ranger team.
I am a Chartered Member of the Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), have a BA in Architecture, an MA in Personnel & Development and a cycling proficiency badge that I wear with pride. |

Originally from the far north of Scotland, I love wild landscapes and lungfuls of fresh air, and after 20 years of living in London I recently made the move back north to Edinburgh. I thrive on a big, juicy challenge, and have pedalled the length of Africa from Cairo to Cape Town. As well as cycling, I love hiking in remote and spectacular locations, completing a through hike in Iceland's West Fjords during 2015's unseasonably cold spring. I have a dream to bike-pack the Silk Route from Beijing to Istanbul.
